This is equivalent to 8-10 hours of work. Just wages. For creative employment of their hands , not necessary making masks.

Where it matters more to give than to receive.
We wanted survivals to step up to a higher skill of working with a sewing machine, so this job pays both a wage and a profit element. The girls have learnt to specialise, each according to their ability, to work in a team so they can yield more with their time. Typically 5 masks can be done in 2 hours but they are getting more because the linen is recycled-donated , hence their profits.
This creates a job for 4 hours and the masks are donated to the poor.
